Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our Financial Systems and Control Capability centre at Head Office. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to both the Maritime and Land Sectors with Finance Modernisation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Business Processes to create and manage data and activities in Business ERP's where a Financial Control role is nominated.
  • Provide support to internal and external customers in the application of established policies, processes, and procedures, including support to External Audit.
  • Prepare, review, and approve information to ensure the required quality to support various reviews (Transactional reviews, Summary Reviews, Issue Management, etc.).
  • Support the improvement and transformation of Balance Sheet assurance activities.
  • Provide support to stand up Finance Taxonomy activity, including support to Global Process owners in process set up, review, and improvement.
  • Understand the governance and controls environment as operated, including key reference documents and accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, accounting policies, and how they apply to financial data and processes.
