Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial transaction processing and control environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute to credit control efforts to ensure timely payment from customers
  • Assist the accounts payable team with processing invoices and other financial transactions
  • Perform general office duties to support the finance team

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Verify and cost job cards to ensure accurate financial records
  • Produce customer invoices on a regular basis, including weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc invoices
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial processing and control
  • Accurately record financial transactions, including journals and other financial records
  • Request and chase purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Practical experience working in an accounting or finance department, preferably with a finance qualification, such as AAT
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Sage 50 Accounts software
  • Desirable: credit control experience and sales ledger experience
