We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the accounting team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring correct coding and posting of invoices to relevant supplier accounts.
- Verify and authorize purchase invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Resolve debit balance account issues and ensure VAT is accounted for correctly.
Requirements:
- Practical experience within an accounting or finance department, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and experience with Sage 50 Accounts.
- Previous experience with Sales Ledger Invoicing and Credit Control, with a strong focus on customer service and communication.
- Sage experience, with a preference for Sage 200, but not essential.
