Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial accounting activities.

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledgers and supplier accounts.

  • Code and post purchase invoices to the correct nominal codes and ensure accurate authorization and VAT accounting.

  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts and resolve any debit balance issues that may arise.

  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience within an accounting or finance department, preferably in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and experience with Sage 50 Accounts.

  • Knowledge of sales ledger invoicing and credit control procedures.

  • Experience with Sage 200 is preferred, but not essential.
