Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial accounting activities.
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledgers and supplier accounts.
Code and post purchase invoices to the correct nominal codes and ensure accurate authorization and VAT accounting.
Set up and maintain new supplier accounts and resolve any debit balance issues that may arise.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses, as needed.
Requirements:
Practical experience within an accounting or finance department, preferably in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and experience with Sage 50 Accounts.
Knowledge of sales ledger invoicing and credit control procedures.
Experience with Sage 200 is preferred, but not essential.
