Communications Director

Mural Arts Philadelphia is seeking a highly skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for guiding the evolution and impact of the Mural Arts brand.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
- Manage the creation and dissemination of all communications materials, including press releases, social media content, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the development team to create key materials such as the annual appeal and spring appeal.
- Develop and maintain internal systems and procedures to support the communications strategy.
- Provide training for Board and staff to communicate effectively and coherently.
- Manage the work of branding and PR consultants and vendors to ensure alignment with the brand.
- Work with project managers and department heads to align programs and messaging with the overall communications strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of six to ten years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or public relations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with budget management and income and expense procedures.
- Management experience and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
