Your Role

Strategic Development

  • Collaborate with the Head of EMEA & LatAm Client Group and regional leaders to formulate and execute the marketing strategy for retail, wholesale, and institutional sectors across various regions, aligning with overarching sales and marketing goals.

Campaign Oversight

  • Lead the execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing brand visibility, generating interest in our offerings, and supporting sales and retention efforts across market segments.
  • Efficiently manage projects within budget, identify potential risks, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Partner with the Strategy and Analytics team to evaluate campaign performance, ensuring that Janus Henderson adapts its strategies based on quality management information.

Content Development

  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Brand, Creative & Digital to implement a cohesive content strategy for the region.
  • Oversee promotional activities, collateral, and digital content for the UK, EMEA, LatAm, and US Offshore markets.
  • In conjunction with Global Product Marketing, design and produce marketing materials to support all distribution channels.
  • Manage both online and offline marketing initiatives effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Janus Henderson's financial promotion guidelines and processes, working closely with Compliance for necessary approvals.

Digital Strategy

  • Engage with the Global Web team and marketing automation resources to optimize digital channels as part of the marketing strategy.
  • Ensure that websites are current and content is presented effectively, articulating needs for each regional site and collaborating with relevant teams to meet these requirements.
  • Utilize analytics from marketing automation and website engagement to inform future strategies.

Event Management

  • Supervise Event Managers to ensure that regional events are organized and executed according to the events calendar, budget, and brand standards.
  • Oversee Event Professionals to address the needs of retail, wholesale, and institutional clients across the UK, EMEA, LatAm, and US Offshore.

Advertising Coordination

  • Work alongside the Global Brand, Creative & Digital Design teams to develop and implement advertising strategies that align with channel marketing objectives.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Collaborate closely with Compliance to ensure that all marketing materials and content adhere to local regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Extensive marketing experience in the asset management sector, with direct engagement with Sales and a deep understanding of the Sales process. Broad marketing expertise in fixed income, equity, multi-asset, and liquid alternatives.
  • Demonstrated success as a results-oriented leader, with prior management experience.
  • Ability to craft comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively drive business objectives, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional planning and project management capabilities, with proven experience in managing fully integrated cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present at senior management levels.
  • Confident and decisive, with the ability to foster effective relationships and strong networking skills.
  • Proven people management abilities and experience leading a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of investment products and market dynamics.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK, European, and LatAm markets and business channels.
  • Thorough comprehension of the regulatory landscape across EMEA and LatAm, particularly concerning TCF and FCA regulations related to financial promotions.
  • Proven strategic and practical marketing expertise.
  • Significant experience in financial marketing.
  • Professional marketing qualifications, such as CIM Professional Diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree level education.
  • IMC qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in European languages is a plus.
