Role Overview

Amazon Web Services EMEA Marketing team is seeking a seasoned Senior Email Marketing Manager to drive customer experience through email marketing excellence.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional passionate about crafting compelling email campaigns that resonate with customers.

The Senior Email Marketing Manager will lead the email strategy in AWS EMEA Marketing, including personalization, email send calendar management, cross-functional team collaboration, and data-driven insights to elevate email communications.

A successful candidate will be a strong communicator, effective listener, and project manager who can balance multiple priorities and draw actionable insights from data.

The Senior Email Marketing Manager will oversee cross-functional marketing programs, guide tactical execution, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in email campaign quality.

This role requires a candidate who is comfortable working with complex challenges autonomously and navigating ambiguity.

Experience in email marketing, marketing automation, and Adobe Marketing products (Marketo, Adobe Analytics) is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for owning the email channel to drive EMEA AWS business growth.

You will be the gatekeeper of email marketing communications to EMEA customers, ensuring a high bar for customer experience.

You will present your strategy to senior leadership, execute against the strategy, share results, and iterate your strategy based on outcomes.

This includes identifying target audiences, architecting customer journeys on the email channel, developing testing and experimentation frameworks, and partnering across internal teams.

You will also work with the AWS Global Email Marketing team to define new initiatives, influence the global email roadmap, and present your vision.

Requirements

  • Professional marketing experience
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience developing and executing email marketing strategies
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience using Marketo for email marketing execution
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience presenting strategy and metrics to senior leadership
  • Experience with Excel, Tableau, or QuickSight (data manipulation, charts, and pivot tables)
