Job Description

About the Role

Clinisupplies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of projects that drive the sale of our products, specifically Aquaflush, into the competitive primary and secondary care market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Sales Results
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver and exceed agreed sales targets for Aquaflush.
    • Work closely with regional business managers, commercial managers, and the neuro business development manager to establish product usage across the region through key commercial activities in conjunction with our clinical team.
  • Represent the Company
    • Represent Clinisupplies at regional consumer events to develop relationships with key healthcare professionals in the areas of bowel and continence care.
  • Support Partnering Trusts
    • Support partnering trusts with the provision, promotion, and implementation of pathways for patients to access our services through our Care+/Nightingale+ programs within the Nightingale Delivery service.
  • Business Planning and Preparation
    • Have excellent standards in territory/journey and business preparation and planning.
  • Learning and Development
    • Learn and understand the selling process.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of both secondary and primary care within the NHS, and the changing face of the NHS.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the formulary process and ability to influence for positive positioning of Clinisupplies products.
    • Develop an ability to function across all levels of the NHS, as well as within a sales culture team environment.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of how a Dispensing Appliance Contractor operates.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Provide effective weekly updates of company IT requirements, CRM, Calendar, and monthly reports to the National Sales Manager.
  • Team Support
    • Assist colleagues when needed, for example, with training, formulary, or discharge policy rollout.
  • Customer Relationships
    • Build excellent customer relationships and sell the product and service to NHS and private healthcare customers.
