  • Provide Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasting and work with operations leadership to ensure appropriate stock levels and profiles.
  • Maximize Margin Potential: Maximize margin potential through market pricing and effective quoting.
  • Report Progress: Report progress in defined areas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Develop and Leverage KPIs: Develop and leverage leading KPIs to manage sales activities and drive business growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and communicate as appropriate to the sales team.
  • Attend Industry Events: Attend industry exhibitions and conferences to find and meet new customers and/or vendors and to understand industry trends.
  • Ad Hoc Customer Visits: Conduct ad hoc customer visits to develop and close identified opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, and marketing, with a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including MS Excel.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% within the UK.
