Residential Solutions Officer

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Housing Solutions Assistants. This role is ideal for those with a strong administrative background, exceptional communication abilities, and proficient IT skills. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers and colleagues in preventing and addressing homelessness.
Your responsibilities will include managing housing benefit inquiries, ensuring efficient handling of correspondence, assisting clients with housing register applications, and providing guidance on various housing alternatives. This position offers a dynamic and diverse work environment where each day presents new challenges.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary objective of this role is to deliver a triage housing options service to the public, focusing on homelessness prevention. You will handle initial housing advice inquiries via phone, written communication, and face-to-face interactions, while also providing administrative support to the Advisers and Team Leader.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from an office for a specified number of days each week, with the remainder of the work being conducted remotely. Strong computer and communication skills are essential, as you will be addressing various inquiries from individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Familiarity with the Homelessness Reduction Act is beneficial but not mandatory.
