Job Summary:
L'Arche London is seeking a Community Leader (Director) to lead our community in living the mission of L'Arche. The successful candidate will provide outstanding, person-centred, and financially sustainable care and support services, support shared community and spirituality, and engage with the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and lead a diverse and talented community of over 100 individuals with and without learning disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements for registered care, supported living, and day services worth £5 million.
- Represent L'Arche London externally in fundraising efforts and outreach.
- Lead an intentional community that responds to the needs and choices of our members.
- Maintain and enhance high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Ensure the Community's financial sustainability through robust financial planning.
- Foster a culture that maximises the voice and power for people with learning disabilities.
- Cultivate an open, creative, and inclusive spiritual life.
Requirements:
- Senior leadership experience in support to adults with learning disabilities.
- Good financial planning skills and experience managing a substantial budget.
- Committed to building a diverse community.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional and personal development.
