Disability Support Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and patient individual to support a young girl with myoclonic muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair. The successful candidate will provide personal care needs and assist with daily activities.
About the Young Person
The young person enjoys baking, swimming, crafting, and watching television. She also enjoys music and dancing, but may require ear defenders in noisy environments. She uses sign language and gestures to communicate and is starting to use a talker.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young people with disabilities and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment. The role will involve working closely with the young person's family and other professionals to ensure her needs are met.
