Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to lead, develop, and manage Support Services in alignment with the organizational vision, strategic goals, and core values, ensuring positive outcomes for those we assist.
About the Service
The Fife Visiting Support Service consists of three specialized visiting support teams, each led by a Team Leader responsible for the daily operational management.
- Short-Term Housing Assistance
- Home Care / Supported Living
- Resettlement Services
Currently, our teams provide visiting support to over 200 individuals aged 16 and above in Fife, aiding them in maintaining their residences through the enhancement of independent living skills. We also facilitate engagement with local community opportunities, reducing feelings of isolation and promoting the achievement of personal goals. Our service delivery is fundamentally guided by a trauma-informed approach.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess recognized qualifications acknowledged by the SSSC, a thorough understanding of the Social Care and Housing Support sectors, a non-judgmental perspective, and a strong commitment to diversity. Proven experience in resource management, setting clear objectives, and driving performance is essential. The ability to cultivate effective relationships and partnerships with both voluntary and statutory organizations, while coordinating and prioritizing resources efficiently, is crucial. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between services is required.
