Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records of laundry processing and delivery.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and will be paid pro rata for part-time staff.

Job Description

The Laundry Service Support Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Receiving and processing laundry from various departments within the hospital
  • Ensuring all laundry is washed, dried, and folded to the highest standards
  • Delivering laundry to wards and departments on time and in good condition
  • Maintaining accurate records of laundry processing and delivery
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth operation of the laundry service
  • Conducting regular quality checks to ensure all laundry meets the required standards
