The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 'Good' Mainstream Secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide support to pupils with Autism and ADHD who require additional help. Your role will involve assisting with lessons, providing individualized support, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the School

Our school is a mixed foundation school with approximately 1800 pupils. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, and we are committed to helping our staff develop and progress in their careers. The school is easily accessible by public transport, and there is parking available on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the classroom teacher with pupils who require extra support
  • Work with pupils with Autism and ADHD to provide individualized support and help them access the curriculum
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements
