Teaching Assistant for SEN Unit

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Ruislip. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a child with special needs in a 1:1 capacity, promoting their physical, cognitive, cultural, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with Autism, complex needs, and Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)
  • Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities, as well as monitoring and assessing children's achievement and progress
  • Actively involved in a wide range of activities, promoting the physical, cognitive, cultural, social, and emotional well-being of the pupils
  • Actively interacting with children through play-based and sensory-related activities
