About You
In the role of Recreational Activities Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing engaging activities that will bring joy to our Residents. Additionally, you will assist the Home Manager in coordinating vital fundraising initiatives.

Whether you are empowering our Residents to socialize more effectively, developing new activity concepts based on their interests, or involving the care home team in these efforts, you will do so with a commitment to kindness above all.

HC-One seeks a candidate with experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly in creating activity programs. Beyond that, your vibrant, positive energy and innate ability to connect with others will be essential. You should possess excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills, along with the ability to manage your time efficiently. When interacting with Residents or colleagues, your communication will be characterized by genuine consideration and kindness.

Safeguarding is a collective responsibility, and it is crucial that you can identify signs that may indicate potential abuse, harm, or neglect in its various forms, as well as know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise.

All staff members are required to participate in safeguarding training relevant to their roles and to pursue additional training in related areas.

You will also need to seek appropriate guidance and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
