Job Summary:
MHA is seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Abbey Park, Coventry. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a programme of activities for our residents, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Work closely with the senior team to identify and address the social needs of our residents, as outlined in their care plans.
- Design and facilitate group activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of activities and services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in programme management, social activities, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of older adult care and support services.
