About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lunchtime Play Assistant. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical well-being of our children during lunchtimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead a variety of outdoor activities that encourage children to be physically active.
  • Recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of every child, tailoring activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrate a compassionate approach to dealing with behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure our playground is a happy and safe place for all children.

Requirements:

  • Ability to plan and lead outdoor activities that promote physical activity.
  • Understanding of the positive impact of physical activity on children's physical and mental well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
