About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can provide exceptional support to our pupils and their families, ensuring a seamless and effective partnership between home and school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide calm, supportive, and informed advice to families, addressing their concerns and needs related to Autism and school issues.
  • Work closely with the safeguarding, pastoral, and behaviour teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local services and organizations to provide families with access to relevant resources and support.
  • Hold regular virtual drop-in sessions to facilitate open communication and address family concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils and their families.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at C/5 or above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Autism and its impact on individuals and families.
