Position Overview
The primary focus of this role is to cultivate and enhance strategic partnerships with senior-level stakeholders within the Health sector, particularly in NHS accounts, facilitating sales opportunities in the Health market, especially in Screening and DESP type contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with existing clients while developing connections with Commissioners, Senior Management, and CEOs.
- Identify and create opportunities for new or expanded product sales, service enhancements, and solution development within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and partners to integrate third-party products into the client base, ensuring strong relationships that benefit NEC.
- Achieve sales targets associated with your designated territory.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that align with revenue goals for your territory and contribute to the overall team sales objectives.
- Develop strategic bids and opportunities within your accounts.
- Engage with clients to ensure their expectations are met throughout the sales process.
- Foster long-term relationships with assigned clients at a strategic and influential level.
- Oversee projects at your sites to ensure successful completion.
- Manage client expectations to ensure promises are fulfilled.
- Adhere to corporate policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture that enhances NEC's overall performance.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Attend training sessions as directed by your line manager.
- Become an integral part of the team through effective work practices and personal development.
- Ensure compliance with all pre-sales, bid, and project procedures.
- Deliver high-quality bids in collaboration with the bid team and pre-sales resources.
- Assist in resolving debts as requested by the Sales Director/Manager.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Ensure balanced revenue generation from sales and services in line with targets.
- Meet sales activity KPIs as part of the performance review process.
- Stay informed about changes within your accounts.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in IT sales.
- Proven track record in business development within the Health sector.
- Experience engaging with senior management teams and decision-makers.
- Background in selling Health solutions, particularly with contracts involving TUPE or screening.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the IS/IT services industry.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable interacting with senior management both internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal skills, utilizing various influencing techniques to close deals effectively.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships with key decision-makers in the Health market.
- Proactive in driving initiatives and advancing opportunities to meet targets.
- Capability to understand and articulate requirements, collaborating with colleagues to develop portfolio solutions.
- Efficiently evaluate sales options and allocate resources and time appropriately.
- Strategic mindset – adept at converting prospects into clients and closing sales orders.
- Ability to strategically develop Health client accounts.
