Job Summary
Eng Bauen is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in a long-term position. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing project-related documentation and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from execution through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Distribution: Distribute project-related documentation to the internal team in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document Filing: File documents in physical and digital records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Company Reputation: Maintain the company's reputation in all dealings with the public and stakeholders, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project teams to ensure the delivery of projects, including the distribution of drawing transmittals and submittals to clients.
- Filing Systems: Develop and maintain efficient filing systems, ensuring easy access to documents and minimizing delays.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Document Controller for EPC/Engineering companies, with a strong understanding of document management systems.
- Document Management: Experience with document management systems, including document issuance and document archive activities.
- Administration: Exceptional administration and organizational skills for document storage and upkeep of the document register.
- Software: Experience with Omega PIMS Document Control Module or similar document control software would be an advantage.
- Vendor Documentation: Experience expediting vendor documentation would be an advantage.
