About the Role

Compass is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Education Mental Health Team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
  • Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
  • Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mental health, education, and child development. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A core MHP qualification relevant to mental health
  • Postgraduate experience working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of CBT and clinical supervision
