Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Substance Use Team as a Band 7 Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the development and delivery of evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of training packages for Secure Services staff, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective delivery.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Trainee Assistant Practitioners, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Consult and liaise with mental health and substance misuse services, working closely with Care Coordinators and MDT staff to provide comprehensive substance use assessment and treatment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to model the C-BIT approach and other evidence-based interventions, ensuring seamless joint working and effective outcomes.
- Provide clinical leadership and management supervision to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
