Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Emergency Department Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for registering patients, updating records, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Update patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Notify medical records of duplicated records and update records accordingly
- Prepare documentation for the Coroners office team
- Data cleanse Firstnet at the point of registration
- Use search engines to obtain patient information from national databases
- Record address and contact details of overseas patients
- Make follow-up appointments for Emergency Care clinics and Trust Outpatient Clinics
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with relevant departmental trust standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours: Full-time
