Paediatric Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Nurse to join our team in the Paediatric Emergency Department at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Paediatric Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care to patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate will have recent post-qualification experience of working in an acute clinical environment and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of current nursing issues and best practices in paediatric emergency care.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake and record comprehensive nursing assessments and plans
- Deliver high standards of evidenced-based nursing care to a diverse group of patients
- Teach and supervise more junior staff, students, and non-registered nursing workforce
- Act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Registered NMC Children's Nurse
- Evidence of recent continuous professional development
- Recent post-qualification experience of working in an acute clinical environment
- Aware of current nursing issues
We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro rata for part-time candidates, and a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a supportive working environment, and the chance to work with a top-performing trust.
