Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing and training staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, managing budgets and financials, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails, with the ability to create innovative and engaging beverage menus
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, with a focus on exceptional customer service
  • Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling, with a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, guests, and vendors
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations, with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus, with the ability to create engaging and memorable events
