Job Overview

The Weir Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high-quality service
  • Manage and train staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Maintain inventory and supplies, manage budgets and financials, and implement marketing strategies
  • Develop and execute plans to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
