National Major Trauma Registry Coordinator Role

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to inform the delivery of high-quality clinical care and outcomes for patients suffering traumatic injury.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data for the National Major Trauma Registry (NMTR) to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Establish and maintain processes for identifying NMTR patients and communicating with relevant staff.
  • Develop and implement data collection and analysis tools to support the NMTR.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as information systems development or clinical data analysis.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages and data analysis software.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment and understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will be based at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and will work closely with the Trauma and Orthopaedics department. The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
