We are currently looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic nurse with a proactive attitude to fill our Band 6 roles, enhancing our supportive team environment.
Our wards consist of a 27-bed unit specializing in elderly care, acute frailty, and dementia care, while our Nurse-led Discharge Unit accommodates 22 beds.
A genuine interest in elderly care is essential, along with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
As a senior nurse, you will be expected to provide support and resilience in challenging circumstances. We foster an inclusive team culture that values innovative and creative solutions.

Main Responsibilities
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the ward sister, assisting with staff management, audits, and ward development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the ward sister to address complaints and governance matters, promoting a culture of safety.
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for effective area management and act as a deputy in the ward sister's absence.
- Provide nursing leadership, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.

Essential Criteria
