Support Worker for Young Adult with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide support for a young adult with learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will work in a family home with an annex extension, providing support for the client to achieve independent living. The client has mild physical disabilities and requires supervision with personal safety and wellbeing, medication, and a healthy and nutritional balanced diet.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in care and with individuals who may present challenging behaviors. Full training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the client with day-to-day activities, including music, Tik Tok, cooking, and walking the dog.
- Assist with personal care and mobility to ensure the client's safety and welfare.
- Write detailed notes on a daily basis to record the client's progress and any challenges.
- Hold a full clean driving license and be able to obtain insurance to drive the client's vehicle.
Working Hours:
Initially 14 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the client's needs.
Rate of Pay:
Weekday: £14.00 per hour, Weekend: £15.00 per hour, Night Rate: £14.00 per hour, Sleep-in Rate: £11.44 per hour.
Please note that an enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
