Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at NP Aerospace for a 12-month fixed-term appointment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pre and post-contract support and guidance, focusing primarily on the UK market with limited involvement in export markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex customer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to address opportunities and risks, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Provide guidance on commercial and legal issues, advising the wider business on internal commercial governance.
  • Support the sales team in all commercial aspects relating to its 'Representatives' network, including drafting and reviewing agreements.
  • Develop and maintain commercial processes and guidance, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Considerable experience in a commercial or contract management role, preferably in the defence or highly regulated industry.
  • Proven track record of evaluating, drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels, with a methodical approach to tasks and a commitment to excellence.
