Position: Treasury Supervisor (Hybrid)

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (35 hours per week)

Overview:
We are seeking a Treasury Supervisor for our client in the educational sector. This permanent position requires a candidate with robust leadership capabilities, treasury expertise, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to assist the Treasury and Commercial Manager by overseeing a team of two treasury analysts, ensuring the prompt execution of daily, weekly, and monthly treasury functions.

Specific duties include:
– Managing treasury reporting and supporting month-end processes, including purchasing and journal entries.
– Overseeing the treasury analysts, managing the team mailbox, and conducting team meetings.
– Establishing and managing team goals, creating training resources, and facilitating cross-training initiatives.
– Enhancing cash management and treasury policies.
– Serving as the principal liaison for Accounts Payable/Receivable and operational banking institutions.
– Administering banking and money market platforms.
– Preparing and supervising bank reconciliations and month-end closings.
– Gathering and validating data for external reporting and financial disclosures.
– Compiling weekly cash flow reports and ensuring adherence to financial covenants.
– Providing necessary information for audits and maintaining the Finance Office register.

Qualifications:
– Comprehensive understanding of financial procedures and treasury management.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
– Experience in a high-volume financial setting and team leadership.
– Part-qualified or qualified by experience in accounting.
– Familiarity with Agresso accounting software and prior experience in a treasury capacity.
