Assistant Psychologist, Paediatric Recovery From Illness Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Paediatric Recovery From Illness team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing psychological support to children and young people with long-term conditions, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological support to children and young people within a multi-disciplinary team context.
- Develop individual plans and resources, as well as provide training and advice on the psychological needs of children and young people with chronic symptoms.
- Provide individual psychological interventions directly to children, young people, and families, as well as develop and facilitate group interventions.
- Support the team to assess the effectiveness of offered interventions.
About the Team
You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that adopts a collaborative approach with colleagues from Paediatrics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Dietetics.
