We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Improvement Coordinator to join our team at MTrec Recruitment. Key Responsibilities- Support the Development and Maintenance of a Safe and Standardized Working Environment
- Audit production procedures, in line with company schedules, with an emphasis on Work Instruction compliance.
- Maintain and update documents appropriately.
- Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce risk, improve quality, and standardize processes.
- Support new ways of working.
- Identify any compliance difficulties, engage, and assist crews, as well as use knowledge/experience in working towards a resolution.
- Data collection and presentation where applicable.
- Provide training and sign off training documentation, as well as coordinate with designated trainers to ensure all training and refresher training is completed in a timely manner and to the required standard.
- Support trials by coordinating production activity with Senior Operators and Trial Originators, ensuring appropriate feedback is provided.
- Administrative work such as overtime, collection, and collation of paperwork, such as machine and equipment checklists.
- Stand-in for the Shift Leader when absent, excluding disciplinary matters.
- Provide holiday assistance and support to other departmental Shift Leaders or Production Improvement Coordinators, excluding disciplinary matters.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C/Grade 4 or above) or relevant production experience.
- Practical experience of leading and implementing change.
- Understanding of improvement techniques and processes.
