Central Employment Agency is working with a specialist engineering manufacturer to fill a Production Engineering role.

About the Role:

  • Provide critical engineering support for seamless production progress and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Lead the development of engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) to drive production efficiency.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for repairs and improvements, leveraging expertise in production engineering.
  • Source high-quality parts and technology to enhance production capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet the highest standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and drive business growth.
  • Assist the commercial department with part recognition, quotations, and other commercial activities.
  • Ensure all work aligns with Quality Systems and Health & Safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SolidWorks, with experience in LabVIEW and data acquisition tools.
  • Have experience in fitting, assembly processes, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a strong understanding of production engineering principles.
  • Demonstrate excellent team-working skills and communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaboration and problem-solving.
