We are seeking a highly skilled Global Events Programmer to join our team at ALM. As a key member of our Global Events Team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content for our international conferences and building new initiatives to grow our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop event content and oversee all aspects of agenda production, including research, advisory board management, copywriting, speaker recruitment, and onsite flow.
- Manage and oversee assigned event programming throughout its entire lifecycle, including independent research, advisory network development, speaker recruitment, and content delivery.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential sponsors and work together to close deals.
- Work with Marketing to create messaging and identify audience targets.
- Manage onsite content delivery, overseeing all track sessions, keynotes, plenaries, and other forms of in-person content.
- Travel to events to manage onsite speaker and content activities.
- 2-3 years' experience developing conference content and speaker recruitment.
- Experience in executive speaker outreach through traditional and social media channels.
- Highly developed sense of customer service, relationship building, and problem-solving.
- Strong copywriting and proofreading expertise.
- Professional demeanor, superior communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to gather, organize, and summarize large volumes of data.
- Organized and able to work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus.
