Event Director Opportunity at Clarion Events

Clarion Events is seeking an experienced Event Director to lead the management of our flagship event, ICE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the event, including developing a value proposition and annual business plan, working within agreed budgets, and project managing live event delivery.

About the Role

The Event Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing a value proposition and annual business plan for ICE, through a mixture of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
  • Working within the agreed budget process to establish a 3-year budget/vision/strategy for ICE to achieve agreed growth, KPIs, and customer metrics.
  • Project managing live event delivery, bringing together all functions (marketing, customer success, sales, ops) to ensure a solid path to a successful event with clear and measurable timelines and key success factors.
  • Using customer insights to improve sponsor, exhibitor, and attendee experience and explore new initiatives and product launches.
  • Understanding key market segments and drivers and reflecting them in the direction of ICE.
  • Maintaining relationships with ICE key customers, venue, and stakeholders and building relationships with new potential customers who are strategically important for the brand.
