Your Role:

  • Engage with clients in the field 60% of the time, focusing on life science customers in the biotech, CDMO, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors. You will be responsible for Cytiva's renowned Biacore line of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) systems, including their associated consumables. Your support will be crucial for clients involved in pharmaceutical screening, characterization, process optimization, and quality control of small molecules and biotherapeutics, as well as academic users of SPR technology.
  • Through direct interactions, you will gain insights into customer objectives, foster robust business relationships, and develop account strategies that lead to effective long-term partnerships.
  • Your daily responsibilities will be diverse, encompassing sales visit planning, lead generation activities, and in collaboration with Biacore Applications support, conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, seminars, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Identify sales opportunities to build a sales pipeline that meets business objectives. Manage leads and prospects using Salesforce Lightning CRM software. Analyze sales data to inform decision-making and territory planning. Participate in business reviews to ensure accurate communication within the sales team and management.
  • Act as a representative for Cytiva, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Focus on your personal growth and career development, supported by training, coaching, and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a field sales territory, with a strong background in customer engagement, funnel management, prospecting, and sales negotiation.
  • A university degree in a Life Science-related field, with the ability to grasp the fundamentals of Biacore technology.
  • Willingness to travel is essential, as this role involves significant customer interaction in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach, balancing the needs of clients and Cytiva.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks, with a proactive approach to seeking new business, managing sales prospects, and closing deals.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel across a large sales territory, covering extensive regions.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
