Job Overview
We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Care Team in Brentwood and Billericay. This innovative service is community-based and operates in a fully integrated manner, collaborating closely with District Nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct clinical visits to patients in their homes and residential facilities under the guidance of a registered nurse.
We seek individuals who are flexible, team-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in health and social care.
We welcome applications from experienced healthcare assistants or social care professionals with strong clinical and communication skills who are eager to contribute to our friendly, supportive, and innovative team. Previous experience in a community healthcare setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to apply a range of skills and experiences gained in clinical practice to assist registered clinicians in conducting thorough and holistic assessments.
Working with Us
At NELFT, we prioritize the proper onboarding and induction of new team members. All new hires will commence their journey with us on the first Monday of each month, participating in a comprehensive induction program lasting up to two weeks. This program includes mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. New starters will also have the opportunity to meet with the executive team and senior managers, as well as attend various drop-in sessions focused on engagement, health, wellbeing, and key processes.
Probationary Period
This position is subject to a probationary period, with internal applicants exempt unless they are currently undergoing a probationary period or are part of the bank staff.
Benefits
We believe in fostering an environment where you can bring your authentic self to work, enabling you to deliver the best care to our patients. Our commitment to supporting our employees holistically is reflected in the following offerings:
- A long-standing and award-winning approach to equality and diversity, with supportive networks for ethnic minority staff, staff with disabilities or long-term conditions, and LGBT staff.
- A commitment to promoting work-life balance through flexible working opportunities and support for working parents and caregivers, recognized as a 'Top 10 Family Friendly Employer' by the Working Families Charity.
- Proactive health and wellbeing support, including access to our employee assistance program, psychological support, individual wellbeing conversations, and a network of health and wellbeing ambassadors.
As a flexible working-friendly organization, we encourage discussions about how we can accommodate flexible working arrangements, whether through job sharing, part-time hours, or other flexible patterns.
