Job Title: Capital Management Specialist

ICBC Standard Bank is seeking a highly skilled Capital Management Specialist to join our Treasury & Capital Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing regulatory requirements relating to capital, large exposures, leverage, funding, and liquidity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and strengthen the control environment surrounding TCM reporting requirements to ensure key regulatory calculations are performed in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and interpretations.
  • Develop close working relationships with departments across the Bank (including Financial Reporting, Risk, Front Office, and IT) to support new business initiatives and regulatory developments.
  • Support bank-wide change initiatives and deliver against regulator-driven change.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant or working towards accounting qualifications.
  • Background and technical interest in UK/EU Prudential Regulatory topics, including Basel 3.1 and CRR/CRD.
  • Regulatory policy or reporting experience in an investment bank or other relevant experience.
  • Wholesale/investment banking product knowledge, including derivatives and SFTs.
