Key Responsibilities:


Employee Relations Management:
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, appeals, and TUPE transitions.
  • Offer expert guidance to both management and staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a constructive workplace environment.

Documentation and Compliance:
  • Prepare and disseminate necessary documentation prior to and following formal hearings, ensuring alignment with company policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
  • Generate analytical reports on employee relations metrics, identifying trends and outcomes.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality.

Legal Adherence:
  • Ensure all employee relations activities are compliant with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Stay informed about employment law, case law, and HR best practices.
  • Advise management on the legal ramifications of decisions and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.

Policy Development:
  • Contribute to the formulation and revision of HR policies and procedures to align with best practices, legal standards, and organizational guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate policies to all employees, ensuring clarity and compliance.

Employee Support Initiatives:
  • Participate in pre-meetings with management to prepare for formal cases.
  • Assist the employee relations team and management in providing additional support to employees facing work-related or personal challenges.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management to resolve conflicts.

Engagement Strategies:
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Assist in organizing employee events, surveys, and feedback initiatives to monitor morale and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and management to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Conflict Mediation:
  • Mediate disputes between employees or departments to achieve mutually agreeable solutions while upholding company policies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into complaints or grievances and propose equitable resolutions.

Performance Management Support:
  • Advise and assist management in conducting performance evaluations and addressing performance-related concerns sensitively.
  • Guide managers in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
