Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

NIO is a global smart electric vehicle company seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Oxford, UK. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide front-line support to all employees, covering topics such as payroll, employee lifecycle, and employee relations matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support to employees, including payroll, employee lifecycle, and employee relations matters.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in the employee representative group and take ownership of HR topics.
  • Facilitate new starters' first-day HR induction, including introductions to the business, IT equipment, and HR SharePoint.
  • Support recruitment advertising and screening for new hires specific to the UK market.
  • Work with line managers to create job descriptions and ensure regular reviews.
  • Lead exit interviews and provide summary analysis to the HR Business Partner.
  • Support headcount planning and forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Manage the UK HR inbox and respond to employee queries when required.
  • Complete visa application invitations and employment confirmation letters.
  • Coach line managers to develop their people management skills.
  • Review HR policies and processes annually in line with UK regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a HR Assistant/Generalist in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong track record of problem-solving, logical thinking, speedy decision-making, with an ambitious and action-driven approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a structured way of working, and willingness to engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate shows eagerness to work with a start-up mindset, good soft and hard skills, with a willingness to grow and develop alongside the global organization.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally within a global HR team.
  • HR or business degree required.
  • English is required, additional languages a plus.
