Process Safety Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Process Safety Manager to join a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. The role is based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, and offers a chance to work with a market leader that provides service provision across multiple channels and applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a culture of Process Safety and Health and Safety excellence
- Accountable for Process Safety across all relevant areas of the Business, reporting to the Head of SHEAQ Northern Europe
- Effective management of major accident hazard identification and risk assessment processes
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, as well as conduct on-site inspections and audits of Process Safety procedures and practices
- Ensure thorough investigations of all Process Safety Accidents and Serious Near Misses
- Manage Health and Safety for onsite staff
- Educated to degree level in Process Safety or a related field
- Thorough understanding of best available techniques for comprehensive risk assessments and major accident hazard identification
- Ideal experience working within an Upper Tier COMAH facility, with knowledge of COMAH legislation
