Job Title: Head of Audit and Risk for Technology and Data

Blockchain Ventures is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Enterprise Risk Management function. As the Head of Audit and Risk for Technology and Data, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across the organization.
  • Provide risk analysis and assessments to executive management, the Board, and the Audit & Risk Committee to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with business units to identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive a balanced approach between business growth and risk management.
  • Implement risk management policies and create analytics to align company metrics with risk policies.
  • Conduct regular enterprise risk assessments and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Support the delivery of Risk and Control Self-Assessments.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and critical interdependencies across programs/initiatives.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Security, Economics, or Finance.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in risk management.
  • Preference for crypto/fintech experience.
  • Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting to Boards and executive management.
  • Fluent in English with ability to work well with colleagues across multiple time zones.
