Culinary Apprentice Opportunity

Location: THE PIG Hotels.

Compensation: OTE £13.44 per hour, including tronc.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to become part of our renowned Chef Academy. This apprenticeship is designed to provide a unique culinary experience.

As a Culinary Apprentice, you will immerse yourself in various kitchen sections, gaining comprehensive knowledge and skills in each area. Our program includes hands-on training in essential culinary techniques such as butchery, foraging, smoking, and curing meats.

In addition to kitchen work, you will engage in enriching activities outside the kitchen, including supplier visits, chocolate training, and bread-making sessions.

This apprenticeship ensures clear career advancement opportunities, supported by expert mentorship from our training provider, Umbrella. We welcome applicants of all ages, with contracts set at 40 hours per week across 5 days.

As part of your journey, you will receive essential tools to kickstart your culinary career, including a complete knife set, uniform, practical cookery book, and recipe journal. You will also have the chance to gain experience in other PIG kitchens.

Our menu is dynamic and changes daily, allowing our Culinary Apprentices to contribute innovative ideas and personal touches to our dishes.
