Cloud Platform Engineer

Compensation: Up to £85,000 + Bonus

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 to 3 Days in Office

We are seeking talented Azure DevOps and Platform Engineering professionals to join our esteemed technology division at Cloud Decisions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a renowned brand's cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Automate the setup, scaling, and management of resources utilizing Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
  • Security and Compliance Assurance: Establish centralized controls to ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Automate deployment processes and conduct comprehensive testing of developed components.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong command of Terraform; familiarity with ARM and Bicep is advantageous.
  • CI/CD Knowledge: At least 5 years in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with experience in GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Scripting Proficiency: 5+ years of experience in at least one scripting language (PowerShell preferred, with Go, Bash, and Python as beneficial alternatives).
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience: 5+ years focused on Microsoft Azure, with a solid understanding of role-based access control and governance.
  • Containerization Familiarity: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, Container Apps, and Container Instances.
