**Cloud Solutions Engineer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Compensation: Competitive Day Rate for qualified candidates

Position Summary

Are you prepared to tackle the exciting challenges of implementing a digital strategy within the Insurance sector? If you are enthusiastic about developing innovative solutions in public Cloud settings, we have an excellent opportunity for you.

We are currently in search of a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to become a part of our client's vibrant team. In this role, you will have the chance to define, deploy, and sustain application infrastructures in Azure and OpenShift Cloud environments. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in establishing new Cloud integration standards and supporting clients and their DevOps teams in embracing public cloud solutions aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and resolve Cloud security concerns raised by auditors, offering guidance on necessary actions.
  • Create scripts and automation tools for infrastructure and permissions management.
  • Contribute to the development of new Cloud integration standards.
  • Support clients and their DevOps teams in the transition to public cloud solutions in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure security measures are effectively implemented in the Cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven engineering background with strong system and development/scripting skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to design algorithms and develop in Powershell, Python, and Terraform.
  • Excellent automation and documentation capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud technologies and networking.
  • Familiarity with system security protocols.
