Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Practice Manager to join our team at our medical clinics in Whitakers and Enfield, NC. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations, development, and success of our medical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between patients, call center, clinic operations, and clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Analyze patient care contacts to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage patient show reports to optimize clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with RHG, PCMH, CMS Meaningful Use, and Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) requirements.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and coach clinical staff to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure clinical staff meet RHG's performance expectations.
- Interact with patients to gather feedback and improve the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Outpatient physician office or other management experience required.
- Excellent communication, telephone, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field of study.
- Basic understanding of medical terms and abbreviations.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to use good judgment when carrying out responsibilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Able to work independently; excellent teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance.
- Possess knowledge of modern office equipment and Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), computer skills (including the ability to type).
- Experience with electronic health record system(s); must be able to quickly learn to use eClinicalWorks EHR.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required - applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
