Escalator Service Leader Job Description

At Stirling Warrington, we are seeking an experienced Escalator Service Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing field operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise Service Delivery: Manage the maintenance portfolio, from service contract acceptance to collection of bad debts, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and Support Engineers: Lead and support engineers and technicians, enhancing customer satisfaction, work quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints, manage claims, and ensure timely follow-up on service issues.
  • Conduct Quality and Safety Audits: Conduct regular quality and safety audits to maintain high service standards.
  • Manage Underperforming Units: Manage and resolve issues with underperforming units in collaboration with the Regional Technical Specialist.
  • Oversee Chargeable and Non-Chargeable Repairs: Oversee chargeable and non-chargeable repairs, from sales to completion, working closely with the credit control team to collect outstanding debts.
  • Foster Employee Development: Foster employee development through on-the-job training, safety sessions, and toolbox talks.
  • Lead Monthly Meetings: Lead monthly meetings with your team to review performance, set goals, and address any challenges.
Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified: Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant technical or business field.
  • Experience in Management or Engineering: Experience in Management or Engineering in the lift & escalator industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in managing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
